EPCOR CENTRE Celebration for the Arts
EPCOR CENTRE for the Performing Arts, our eight resident companies and Honourary Patrons The Honourable Peter Lougheed and Mrs. Jeanne Lougheed express our appreciation to those who have given so generously in support of EPCOR CENTRE Celebration for the Arts – 25 Years in the Community.
On September 18, 2010, we raised over $575,000. Part of the evening’s proceeds enabled EPCOR CENTRE to establish the Founders’ Award, a $25,000 cash award to encourage the creation, production and presentation of Canadian works of art.
Funds also supported a Community Concert held September 25, 2010. In partnership with Kids Up Front and the United Way of Calgary and Area, EPCOR CENTRE invited 1800 guests through 50 local social agencies. Thank you Calgary and Alberta!
