Max Bell Theatre
The traditional style of the 750-seat Max Bell theatre breathes elegance. A proscenium theatre, it is home to one of Calgary's foremost theatre companies, Theatre Calgary. The theatre has wrap-around seating on three levels and is versatile in scope through its adjustable seating and staging features. Moveable hinged box seats on both sides of the auditorium near the stage can be angled toward centre stage, left flat against the side walls or positioned somewhere in between creating a proscenium opening which can be adjusted from 35 to 75 feet in width.
